Types Of Imagination

Imagination is creating the picture of something which is not real but has the tendency to become real. It is considered as the strongest power of a person mind. Imagination is the expansion of Idea. An Idea changes the life of a person. It also changes the lives of millions of people. For example, someone had the idea of inventing the cell phone, a device through which someone can call his friends or family members thousands of miles away. He imagined it, worked for it and that is how it happened.

The Wright brothers thought of making the airplane, they imagined the way it would fly, land and the benefits people would get from it. Everything invented in this world was the imagination of a person. That is the reason every company prefers a creative person. According to Napoleon Hill imagination could be of two types:

  1. Synthetic Imagination.
  2. Creative Imagination.

Synthetic Imagination:

Synthetic imagination is a type of imagination through this one may arrange past concepts, ideas or plans into a new combination. It is based on our past experience. For example, thinking about any past incident or event is also a type of synthetic imagination. Sometimes we get the help of synthetic imagination and use it for the decision of our future.

Creative Imagination:

Creative imagination is the mightiest power. You might have watched the “Inception” movie. It is all about the power of imagination. Imagination enables the person to make a different world in his mind. It has a connection with “Infinite intelligence”. With the help of this, we can connect with our subconscious mind. It involves new ideas to create something.
